AVR 2700 is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent AV Reciver. I have been using this receiver for more than a year now. It replaced Harman Kardon AVR 1710 and I couldn't be happier. The sound is excellent thanks to the improved EZSet/EQ. It even has 4k passthru and upscaling! Awesome looks, excellent sound!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great receiver I bought this as an upgrade to my last Harman/Kardon receiver. I needed a receiver with lots of hdmi inputs. I've always stuck with this brand because of the simplicity, and sleek look at a great price. The 2700 did not let me down. Another great bonus was the lightness of this receiver. My last one weighed 40lbs and it was a bear to setup every time I moved. This one is much easier to deal with if I have to add new equipment to my setup. This pushes my Magnepans just fine. No complaints about this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this unit the day it came out to replace a AV-247. You just can't go wrong with any HK product. If it got any better it would be illegal.

Is this receiver HDCP 2.2 compatible ?

Asked by: Beedog
Yes this would be compatible however would work like a normal HDMI cable. The only difference is the HDCP 2.2 is a technology designed to prevent illegal copying of 4K Ultra HD content. Every link in your video chain must support HDCP 2.2 .Your TV, video source, and any component the video signal passes through.

I purchased an avr2700 in late 2013. It worked fine up until this past November2015. Now it turns on and displays like normal for a few seconds and then shuts off by its self. I have no clue why it's doing this. I've disconnected every wire but the power?

Hi My question......... Can you connect a computer to the Harman Kardon AVR 2700??? All my other devices connect and work via HDMI connections but I cannot get my computer to display when going through the AVR. Thanks for this info & any directions.

Asked by: JohnnyR1

Hello, I upgraded my AVR 3700 and tried to update my AVR 2700, but it did not detect the USB drive. It worked fine on the 3700. I also tried using several other USB drives I have. I don't think my AVR 2700 can read USB. Is there something I can try ?
