Lost my power cord in a move can I charge it with a usb cord

The USB port is only used for updating the speaker's software, when available. We do carry replacement power cord for the ONYX. Please call our service hotline (800) 336-4525 and ask about purchasing information for part # 51-BC0150-0LR07-M, thank you.

Lost the airplay connection and can't pair again. help?

Hi, Thank you for your question. Try to reset the ONYX speaker by doing the following: Press and hold the Bluetooth and Power buttons for 5-6 seconds while the unit is in operational mode. Do the installation process again, and see if the speaker can use AirPlay. If you need further assistance, please contact us at customer.service@harman.com

Which ONYX is this speaker

The ONYX is different from the ONYX STUDIO series that came out. Aside from the design, the ONYX allows wireless connection via Bluetooth, Airplay and DLNA while the ONYX STUDIO SERIES only has Bluetooth.

Hello i just bought the onyx 3 speaker it was great with my husband samsung phone but does not work with huwai honor 5 my phone i can find the device on my search bluetooth in mobile? Any reason why? How can i fix? The same for iphone does not work

You may try doing a reset on your ONYX STUDIO 3 by turning it on and holding down Phone button & Volume + at the same time until it shuts off. When you power it back on, it has been reset. If you have connected the device to the speaker, please make sure that you forget the speaker on the source device Bluetooth list. Then you can try to pair again. Furthermore, please also check Huawei Honor 5x bluetooth issues, it might also help you out correcting the issues. If this doesn't help, please submit a case at www.harmankardon.com/support-contact.html for information regarding your warranty options.

How long does it take to charge the onyx?

The charging time for the ONYX is 5 hours. An average Lithium-Ion battery would have a life of an average of 500-1,500 charging cycles.

Please try plugging the charger to a different outlet and see if any light indicators will turn ON. I noticed that you are in Sudan. If you are still having issues, please contact the store where you purchased the unit and they will be able to help.

Are these speakers compatible with google chromecast?

Unfortunately, Chrome cast would not work on the ONYX since the USB port is used for charging and Wi-Fi setup with iOS devices.

Hi! My Onyx stops playing audio for ~5 seconds every other ~30 second while connected to my pc (Windows or Linux) using a mini-jack cable. It plays normally only if connected to my Android phone using a Bluetooth. What could be the problem?

While connected via aux cable, make sure that the volume level on your PC is at least 70% so the ONYX can continuously detect the audio signal and adjust your desired volume on the speaker. Setting it lower than that activates the power-saving feature. If it does the same, you may try using another mini jack cable as the one you currently use might have gone defective. If you still encounter the same issue, please submit a case at www.harmankardon.com/contactus and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.
