1. How do I program my remote?

Press and hold the Power and SRC button at the same time until the lights flash, then let go. Press the button you want to program first on the SB16. For example, if you want to program the volume up button, press the “+” button once and let go. You now have 5 seconds to program it on your remote. On your remote, press and release the volume up button repeatedly (press, release, press, release, press, release). Keep doing it until you hear the volume go up on the SB 16 or until the lights remain solid. You can go through the same procedure for the other buttons.

2. The subwoofer is not getting a signal.

Move the sub closer to the SB 16 for testing and see if the signal picks up. Turn off any wireless routers or devices that run on 2.4ghz signals, such baby monitors, cordless phones, etc. and test to see if the subwoofer connects. Test with a movie or music with a lot of action scenes or bass. If it’s just dialogue, you may not hear the subwoofer.

3. There is interference with the SB 16.

Move the sub closer to the SB 16 and see if the interference goes away. Turn off any wireless routers or devices that run on 2.4ghz signals, such baby monitors, cordless phones, etc. and test to see if the subwoofer connects. Remove any obstructions in the area that could be interfering with the signal.
