About this product

A typical home theater system involves five loudspeakers, one or two subwoofers and lots of speaker wire. But not every room can accommodate all of that hardware, and not every homeowner wants to live with it. The SB 30 soundbar speaker offers a simpler, more elegant alternative. This single amplified loudspeaker unit with multiple drivers connects easily to your TV receiver, Blu-ray Disc™ player, DVD player or game console, and works with a wireless subwoofer that you can place anywhere in the room. The system features exclusive HARMAN Wave technology that delivers a compelling surround-mode experience.

General

1. My unit goes into standby when there is still a signal.

Check your audio cables and make sure they are secure. Set the volume of the source device (if applicable) to a higher level.

2. Audio is out of sync with devices.

Check to see if it happens with all source devices (TV, BluRay, DVD, etc.). If it only happens with one device and not the other, the issue may be with that device.

3. The sub does not connect to the sound bar.

Move the sub closer to the SB 30 for testing and see if the signal picks up. Turn off any wireless routers or devices that run on 2.4ghz signals, such baby monitors, cordless phones, etc. and test to see if the subwoofer connects. Test with a movie or music with a lot of action scenes or bass. If it’s just dialogue, you may not hear the subwoofer.

Your SB 30 may currently be in-warranty.

Your model might be eligible for direct factory exchange under our warranty program. If so, and if you purchased your product online or from an authorized local retailer, you may use this form to request an exchange. Purchases made from an unauthorized dealer will not be eligible for exchange. Products out of warranty need to be serviced by a Harman Kardon-approved service center.

Products under warranty may qualify for an exchange with a valid receipt.
