The BDS 7772’s five amplifiers, rated at 65 watts per channel, power the left, right, center and two surround loudspeakers, all of which feature voice-matched drivers and tweeters for consistent sound from speaker to speaker. This amplifier-speaker combination dramatically improves the clarity and realism of directional sounds, even at high listening levels.
Space-saving 60-watt powered subwoofer
Unlike conventional, front-firing subwoofers, the BDS 7772’s 60-watt, 8-inch (200-millimeter) powered sub fires downward, interacting with the floor for enhanced bass response. Volume, phase and bass-boost controls make it easy to synchronize bass output with the satellites and then fine-tune the system’s performance to match your room acoustics and personal preferences.
Fully integrated home theater audio system
The BDS 7772 system is an all-in-one entertainment solution featuring a 3D Blu-ray Disc player with Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay, 3 HDMI inputs and one output, five matching loudspeakers with midrange drivers and tweeters and a downward-firing, 60-watt powered subwoofer. Access to streaming content services

Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD surround-sound decoding
The BDS 7772 receiver decodes high-resolution film soundtracks in their native formats – including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD surround sound – so you hear the sounds that the filmmakers intended. You also get the best possible audio from external sources connected via HDMI technology.
Apple AirPlay music streaming
The BDS 7772’s AirPlay compatibility lets you stream audio files from an Apple iOS® device or iTunes software on Mac or PC to your loudspeakers and your TV or flat-panel display. You can replay audio files from any compatible iPod, iPhone or iPad, and also control your Apple device using the unit’s programmable remote control.
HDMI technology with 3D and Audio Return Channel
HDMI connectivity helps you get the most from 3D sources, with the highest-quality digital video and audio. Three HDMI input connectors make it easy to connect 3D-capable HDMI components. And Audio Return Channel lets you listen to your TV’s audio through your home theater system instead of the TV speakers.
Reads Blu-ray Disc, DVD and CD recordings
The BDS 7772’s surround-sound system handles all of your entertainment sources on both 5-inch (127-millimeter) and 3-inch (76-millimeter) disc formats, including BD-Video (single/double-layer), DVD-Video, DVD+R/+RW, DVD-R/-RW, CDDA (Compact Disc Digital Audio) and CD-R/RW discs.
Enhanced EzSet/EQ calibration
No receiver operates in a vacuum. The BDS 7772 calibrates itself to its specific speaker system. Its enhanced EzSet/EQ feature automatically adjusts individual speaker volume levels, delay and equalization to create optimum performance in any room.
Companion app for smart devices
