Fully integrated, 120W, 5.1-channel home theater speaker system with 200W subwoofer.

Engineered to serve as the complete home theater loudspeaker package, the HKTS 30BQ integrates high-performance 5.1-channel speakers – four front and rear satellites, plus a center loudspeaker – with a subwoofer in a single sophisticated offering. The combination of a dual-driver, center-channel speaker for replaying distinct movie dialogue, powerful dual-driver satellites that envelop you in all the high-energy action and a powered sub for low-frequency thrills makes this speaker system more than equal to handing the sonic excitement of Hollywood blockbusters and your favorite musical offerings. Constant-directivity waveguides fitted to the satellite speakers’ soft-dome tweeters decrease their directivity at high frequencies to produce a wide stereo image across a large listening area. Bass-boost and phase controls on the subwoofer allow you to adjust low-frequency sounds. And if that’s not enough, you can add more: You can put the speakers at ear height with the aid of the optional (and very attractive) HTFS 3/E floor stands and add two speakers to expand your home theater to a 7.1-channel system. The six-piece HKTS 30BQ provides a best-in-class cinema experience while elevating your home theater from the ordinary to the truly extraordinary.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Speakers, great price! I prefer Bose, but HK is also one of my choices. Sound great, great price, and well everything you need is included wall mounts and stands it's a great bundle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sound! I purchased this system through "Brad's Deals" which directed me to Harman Kardon.com. The deal was $299.00 with free shipping. I would put it up against Bose Acoutimass 10 any day of the week. The sound is great and I am running it through a Yamaha RXV-633. Music and video sounds amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great, sounds great, very loud too Got the HKTS 30 with the AVR1710s and HKFS 3 floor stands, all on sale, and they looks stunning. The sound is great, I haven't experienced any rattling like someone else mentioned. This system can be very loud, I got a noise complaint from my neighbor on my 3rd day using it while watching my Tron Legacy Blu-ray with the volume set to -15db (roughly 75% max volume) and subwoofer on max, this system was shaking my entire apartment and my neighbor's apartment too. Pros: Stylish, Great Sound Cons: Surround sound speakers come with only 32.5ft wires (I needed at least 50ft for an 11x19 ft room)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from looks impressive but looks can be deserving looks like, WOW ! but truth is specters rattles in some movies/songs cant handle ex-stem low bass. you have to call a third party teck, and all speaker tecks will tell you the same thing. the harden 30s, and i dont know about the 20s or 60s are known for this rattling sound. theirs nothing to do of fix it.

Hkts30 modle speakers useing any branded avr amblifer (yamaha, jbl, denon)

Asked by: Prabha
The HKTS 30 speakers can handle up to 120 watts of RMS power. This means that any receiver with impedance of 8 ohms and a power output of 120 watts per channel or less will work fine with these speakers.

Hello! can HKT230 be connected to DENON 3805 amplifier? does it give a good experience of music and cenema?

Asked by: Mano5
Yes, the HKTS 30 will work well with your Denon 3805 amplifier. Your amplifier outputs 120W per channel at 8-ohms, similar to what the HKTS 30 can safely handle.

Hi please could you let me know which speakers I would need to purchase to upgrade this system to 7.1, specifically the white version. Also is it possible to extend the supplied speaker cables if they are not long enough. Thanks Michael

Asked by: mikarcher
Hi Michael Thank you for your question. If you want to extend your HKTS 30 speaker system to make an 7.1 system - you need to purchase 2 extra satellites. This can be done from your local spare-parts dealer. for further contact details please contact out customer help-desk. regarding the question of extending the cables. The cables should be changed and not extended. Generally, I would say that cables up to 20 m. are okay. use as thick a cable as possible, when the cables are long. If you have further questions, please contact customer support for further assistance.

Yes just wondering if you can hook up the Sabre SB 35 sound bar with the HKTS 30 speakers

Asked by: rickyrick
No. The SABRE SB35 is a stand-alone system that cannot be connected to external speakers, and the HKTS 30 is a 5.1 speaker system that needs to be connected to an AVR or surround sound amplifier.

How does HKTS30 compare with HKTS20 and HKTS16. Which on better ? I know things like HKTS 20 is a newer design and does have better sound over HKTS16 but HKTS16 has higher Watts. Any detailed listing of differences would be helpful.

Asked by: Adi1
The HKTS 20 and 30 uses the same center channel speaker and subwoofer and only differs with the satellite that comes with the set. The HKTS 20’s satellites can only handle up to 80W of power while the HKTS 30’s can handle up to 120W. So clearly, with these two, the HKTS 30 stands out. Comparing the HKTS 16 and the HKTS 30 is more of components, rather than specs. Both these models satellites and centers can handle up to 120W of power and uses a 200W powered subwoofer. Generally, the HKTS 30’s satellites have dual tweeters while the HKTS 16 has a single tweeter. HKTS 16’s, thus, providing crisper highs than of the HKTS 16’s. If the AVR you are going to use can driver power that is more than 80W per channel at 8-ohms, we do recommend either the 16 or the 30, the latter, if you want the best that is available.

Can I use these speakers with the Pin point 20 mount?

Asked by: Ante
We recommend using only the mounting system hardware that comes included with the speaker system. The HKTS30 satellite speakers do not offer any threaded inserts that were designed for universal wall mount systems. You may want to contact the manufacturer of the Pinpoint 20 mount system to see what additional modifications or options might be available to clamp or hold the speaker using their mount system.

Speakers are wireless or wired ?

Asked by: Mani12_mani
The HKTS 30’s satellite speakers including the sub-woofer are wired ones, and requires an audio-video receiver like one of our AVR’s units, in order to function.
