Rated 5 out of 5 by from HDMI connects to everything on tv Love this system. Great Sound, Great bass. Love that I can connect from my phone through bluetooth. Once you hook the HDMI cable from the system to the TV anything you watch from the tv plays. Cable box, blu ray, everything. Great investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic sound experience I bought this system a few days ago and set it up in about 15 minutes. The instructions are very light but set up is pretty straight forward. I have it hooked up through my Playstation and it is all systems as usual once connected. The sound is amazing. You get to hear new sounds through games and movies that you simply cannot hear through the original TV speakers. There is no sound distortion and the subwoofer provides that deep low needed for Action movies. My test movie was James Bond Skyfall and it makes the movie come alive. You will not be disappointed with Harmon/Kardon, they are above the rest and this unit in my opinion is best quality for the price. I only wish I got this sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What I expected and more I read some reviews that suggested purchasing this sound bar in replace of a surround sound system and I agree. The quality of sound is amazing. I was very pleased at how easy it was to set up. I also like the fact that with bluetooth I can play music from my iPhone and iPad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Multiple inputs I have finally finished setting up my SB26. One of the features I liked the most was the ability to have multiple inputs plus the blue tooth feature. Most other sound bar systems only had one input.

I'm purchased that one...It's marvelous.I have no idea about FM upgrade pluging port back side of sound bar.If any one idea about that please tell me...or paste URL here for more details

Asked by: Shals
The SB26 does not have an FM/AM extension capability. If you would like to use the SB26 as a radio, you would need to connect at least a transistor radio to the soundbar or any device capable of FM transmission.

I just bought this system last week & am pretty happy with its sound quality. But its bluetooth seems to be very bad as I hardly get the range of 2m.If I go any further away, sound starts cracking. Also, would it have firmware update to support HDMI CEC?

Asked by: de18
The Bluetooth connectivity of the Soundbar may be drastically affected by a lot of things(i.e Microwave emitting appliances, some external monitors/LCD displays, direct satellite services, wireless phones operating between 2.4GHz to 5GHz, Etc...). Try and place or switch off other devices that are near the soundbar which might be causing this problem, and check if your Bluetooth connectivity is still affected. The latest firmware update for the SB26 only fixes some minor glitches such as its volume step up, we still don't have news/word if there will be a new firmware update release to target CEC support.

How can I set up my tv control to it?

Asked by: Nene
Not exactly sure I understand your question. But if you are trying to control it with your TV remote, the instruction manual explains this. To program the power, surround, volume down, volume up and mute commands: 1. Ensure that the SB26 is ON. 2. On the soundbar, press and hold the soundbar’s Surround button until the visible Surround button flashes amber. If the button does not flash after three seconds, release the buttons and try again. 3. You now have to momentarily press the soundbar button that you want to program (Power, Volume Down, Volume Up, Volume Down and Up simultaneously for Mute). 4. You have to aim the TV remote at the front of the soundbar and slowly press the corresponding button on the remote until the Surround button on the soundbar flashes white for one second. This indicates that the programming operation has been successful. 5. To exit the learning mode (at any time or when the learning is complete), press and hold the soundbar surround button until the amber illumination stops flashing. NOTE: If you would like to program a new TV remote control or you are missing a command, restart the whole process. If you would like to cancel the learning, reset the SB26. Put the SB26 in Standby mode, press and hold the Surround and Volume – button simultaneously. Once factory defaults are restored, the SB26 surround button will flash white for one second, then the unit will enter into operational mode.

I use it for entertainment throughout the house. I want to add a speaker so I can hear the music outside on the pool deck, as well as guests throughout the house. Is it possible to add speakers to this setup?

Asked by: HKnut
Unfortunately, no. The SB26 is a stand alone pseudo surround speaker system which means that there is no preamp outputs installed in the system.

How to pair sub

Asked by: Captain Don
The SB26 Sub pairing is a little bit tricky. Follow these steps for pairing the Sub to the Soundbar. **Press the Subwoofer pairing button at the back of the Soundbar and observe the LED indicator beside it. **If the LED indicator is blinking with at least 1 second interval, press the pairing button again. **Do this for at least 3-4 times or until the LED indicator would blink faster than before. **Once the LED indicator on the soundbar is blinking fast, press the pairing button at the back of the Sub. **Make sure that the Soundbars LED indicator is still blinking fast. **Both LED indicators should stop blinking and stay constantly lit indicating paired status. **Make sure that the SB26 is on the correct source selection for it to produce sound.

Will this product work with indian tvs and dvd players? U.S. uses NTSC as the standard analog standard definition video format. In contrast, India uses PAL.

Asked by: Neil
The difference between NTSC and PAL is practically limited to the framerate of the display which is 23,975p/30p/60i on NTSC and 25p/50i on PAL standards if you are using digital connections. On the other hand, if you are using analog connections that would be a different story. You will need to make sure that your TV is compatible with both PAL and NTSC standards for you to accomplish analog connections to speaker systems(i.e receivers, sound bars, Etc..). Our systems are both NTSC and PAL compliant and are not region specific units in terms of signal standards.

Will the Omni wireless speakers connect to the sound bar and subwoofer for a better surround sound?

Asked by: VogelGC
The OMNI speaker system cannot be connected to the SB26 Soundbar for surround sound as both are stand alone systems. The OMNI System utilizes the HK Control App for connecting multiple OMNI speakers and utilizes WiFi connection as well, which is not possible with the SB26. For surround sound you would need a surround A/V receiver and multiple surround speakers.
