I followed all the instructions to update de firmware of SB-26 but I could not do it. Any solution or tip?

Asked by: danielguiao
Please ensure to UNZIP the software ZIP file and place it in the main “root” of a USB memory stick with at least 256Mb of available storage capacity. We recommend that no other files are in the main “root” directory of the memory device. If the root directory does contain any existing files, we recommend that you either remove them or save them to a separate folder on the memory stick. After the upgrade, if power LED flashes white and amber, the upgrade has failed – check the upgrade file and try again. I noticed that you are in Brazil. If this doesn't help, please send an e-mail to tecnica@harman.com and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

Hi, i ve a SB26 and when i connect it via BT to the laptop or Cellphone, i ve like an interference, as if its not getting good signal but im 2 meters away, clean view

Asked by: Agustin
There is a high chance that it is because of EMI or electro-magnetic interference such as wireless routers, cordless phones or a microwave oven that is interfering with your Bluetooth connection and causing poor audio quality. Bluetooth should work within 10 feet radius without any problem. If any other wireless devices are nearby, try temporarily moving them away to see if the sound quality improves. You can also do a reset to try and fix the issue. With the SB26 in standby mode, press the "Surround" and "Volume -" buttons simultaneously, and let go immediately. (If you keep the buttons pressed, the reset will fail.) After about one second, the "Surround" button will flash white for about a second, the "Power" button flashes amber/white, and then turns white. The SB 26 then enters operational mode. Now the SB 26 is restored to factory settings. If the issue persists, please submit a case at www.harmankardon.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service Team will be more than happy to further assist you.

I just purchased a Sony XBR-65X900 and connected my SB-26 to it. I turn off the tv and the soundbar goes to standby but after about 5 min the bar is back on. Is there any setting that turns off the wakeup feature on the soundbar?

Asked by: SteveKNY
There's no option to turn off the wake up feature on the soundbar. When the SB26 goes automatically in Standby mode, it will automatically turn on whenever it detects an audio signal at the following Source inputs: • HDMI (with compatible CEC television) • Bluetooth The SB26 will also automatically wake up from the following sources if it was on those sources before going to Standby. • Optical audio input • Analog audio input For example, if the source input was analog audio when the SB26 went in automatic Standby, it does not wake up if it senses an audio signal from the optical audio input. When the SB26 system is ON, hold down the Power button for at least three seconds to put the soundbar in Standby mode (The Power Indicator turns amber). If you still having issues with your speaker, please submit a case at www.harmankardon.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service Team will be more than happy to further assist you.

Can I use this soundbar and sub-woofer in my home, and also connect two Onyx Studio 3 speakers? Do these devices connect together via Wi-Fi? If not, do any other Harman Kardon sounder/woofer options pair with the Studio 3?

Asked by: Jefarmer007
No, you cannot connect an ONYX STUDIO 3 with your SB26. You can only connect another speaker with the Wireless Dual Sound feature to the ONYX STUDIO 3, the SB26 does not have this. There is the option to connect these speakers via an aux cable, but it will only amplify the sound (no surround sound). Both speakers do not support Wi-Fi connection, and currently there aren't any soundbars that have the Wireless Dual Sound feature either.
