Invoke is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 78.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Assisted Speaker. I bought this speaker 3 months ago and its been great. I bought it on sale, so that made the deal even better. It plays great sounding music on request, tells me about the weather, the news, makes a quick grocery list, and many other things. It is very useful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Fantastic! The invoke is a very well built device. It is an excellent companion to Cortana. Being a Windows Phone user since the beginning made this purchase a natural choice for me. Cortana is an excellent digital assistant. I've tried a couple of Amazon Echo devices and they work good, but Alexa is not as much of an "assistant" as Cortana. The sound quality of the invoke is superior to the Echo, especially in the lower range and spacial reality of the sound. It has some heft to it, which lends to that good quality feel it has. I haven't had any technical glitches or issues with it in a couple of months (at least none that can't be attributed to a flaky internet connection). Pros: Excellent sound quality. Great voice recognition. Excellent integration with Cortana. Quality feeling and looking device. Cons: Fairly expensive if you don't buy it on sale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best all around smart speaker #timbotruth About a year ago I purchased all of the smart speakers and this, Invoke speaker was the best all around, by far. Silly long name-Harmon/Kardon Invoke by Microsoft featuring Cortana, which, I believe, hurt in its marketing. It has the brain of Bing, second only to Google. It has amazing surround sound, second only to the HomePod. Ease in connecting smart enabled devices to it. Only thing it is behind all other devices is its inability to connect multiple for stereo sound across the room or in other rooms or to use as an intercom system. It does appear that this line is being abandoned because of stiff competition from the other big three but the value on this thing is still out of this world. I’ll bet you will get a very solid two years out of it before the next two generations of smart devices come out and you get sucked into buying the latest and greatest.

Can I use this with an Amazon Alexa echo dot? Our fire stick is controlled with an echo Dot and I'd like to pair the echo Dot and invoke for better sound.

Asked by: Kkelly09
You can use it as a Bluetooth speaker for an echo. Also you can open Alexa from the Invoke. You must activate the skill first. Certain things are limited thou. Much more can be done with Cotana and IFTTT.

Does Invoke connect to siriusXM?

Asked by: Crazyee27
Does not connect with SiriusXM so you would have to subscribe one of the only 3 Music apps. They need to open that up to all. Cant even use it as a speaker for your own Music. :( Disappointing because I really like the device quality.

I have two houses. Can I have an Invoke set up in each location and use the same password etc. information?

Asked by: aldon
As both devices would be set up over different WIFI networks, this would probably not be possible. Please visit https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/cortana for more info or submit a case request at https://www.harmanaudio.com/support-contact.html with more information around your set up in each house, and the Customer Service Team will be more than happy to assist you.

I just bought my Invoke online, I live in El Salvador and Cortana app isn’t available for me. The site never disclosed that. What options do I have?

Invoke has an amazing sound. It is a wireless and bluetooth streaming speaker. I am wondering if this is DLNA compatible and allows streaming from other devices like PC's to it? My question is not about Bluetooth streaming but about network stream?

Is INVOKE wireless..? I'm not able to use it without keeping it plugged to the adapter.

Asked by: Rats
It's wireless in a way that it connects to the internet. It needs to be plugged in to the power cord at all time since it's not portable.

Really like this speaker, except.... can I sync it up with another Invoke to play "stereo"? I think Microsoft claimed this was going to eventually going to become a reality when this product was first released in 2017. .

Asked by: johnmiller125
Unfortunately it does not have the capability to do so. The Invoke is an independent speaker and can't link up with other invokes.

Why does it fall asleep then not wake up? It seems to require repairing with either phone or computer, it works fine at first then puts itself to sleep and briefly lights but does not respond.

Asked by: JBenaknin
Invoke responds to just "Cortana" as well. So, at least when you want to command Invoke, you can without activating Cortana on any other device. At
