Harman Kardon Allure is a voice-activated speaker powered by Amazon Alexa Voice Service in a beautifully crafted design. Thanks to the built-in 4-microphone array, far-field voice recognition enables Allure to hear you from across the room. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound, Great look, Wonderful features I've been using the Allure for 4 month now. I got it mainly to play music and control it using Alex. I used it with Pandora, Spotify and TuneIn. All works great. When I fist got it, it was not able to control Bluetooth audio using Alexa commands. However, I recently noticed, it got a software update that fixed that! the Bluetooth control works great now, I can play pause music of my iPad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good 360 sound I got it 1 week ago from HK site. It is not available in any store so I was not sure about the size and materials beside the sound quality. After receiving and installing I could prove the always good sound quality from HK. Very good bass with volume and 360 sound. It gets really loud with distortion. You can turn off the lights if you don't like it. I recommend for a very good 360 sound in a small size and very nice materials to be in the middle of your living room or kitchen or even in your bedroom. The Alexa is also a nice add on for a speaker with this quality.

Can I connect it to my projector to watch a movie? Or does it has sync issues?

The HK Allure is mainly designed for music and Alexa so there's a high possibility of getting audio/video sync issues with it. I would advise getting an actual soundbar or a home theater system to watch a movie.

So you have to have a paid Spotify account in order to connect? Also, it can't find my local FM stations, it says KQED radio does not stream (it does) and can't connect to Pandora or Sirius XM. So it's just a glorified Amazon music player?

arrived this morning...set it up & worked perfectly.....unplugged it & moved it to another room...now it will not switch on & app cannot find it

There is a bad audio delay while using it through Bluetooth, tried on my TV, laptop and my smartphone. Every time the same, mouths move way ahead of when you hear the sound. Is there a way to fix that? Never had this issue with Onyx Studio 3.

Hi Tom, Thank you for your question. I have never seen or heard this issue before with our HK Allure speaker. Make sure that the product is updated via our HK Alexa setup app to ensure it has the latest firmware. Try with another smartphone just to see if that brings any differences. The product is not meant for TV usage, and using it with a smartphone over Bluetooth watching movies will have a slight delay (normal for any Bluetooth technology), but of course, should not be with many seconds behind video material. I suggest that you reach out to our customer service with a small video and description to customer.support@harman.com then we can assist you further.

Hi Darren, Thank you for your question. It is indeed wireless in term of connecting to your Wi-Fi network. In case you meant wireless as it is portable then it is not. We will soon have a smaller version of this one that has a battery in it for portable use.

Hello! Yes as long as you have set it up and link your account to the speaker and WiFi, you could play songs (ex. Spotify Connect) without using a mobile phone.
