Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good 360 sound I got it 1 week ago from HK site. It is not available in any store so I was not sure about the size and materials beside the sound quality. After receiving and installing I could prove the always good sound quality from HK. Very good bass with volume and 360 sound. It gets really loud with distortion. You can turn off the lights if you don't like it. I recommend for a very good 360 sound in a small size and very nice materials to be in the middle of your living room or kitchen or even in your bedroom. The Alexa is also a nice add on for a speaker with this quality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Amazing sound. Echo integration needs more work The audio quality is amazing as one would expect from Harmon Kardon. What is disappointing is the integration with Alexa/Echo is extremely basic lacking most features one would consider standard on any Echo enabled device. The device does not support multi-room audio nor are you able to customize the settings at all. No ability to enable a sound when you wake Alexa. No ability to customize the sounds at all. The HK app is for setup only. It has no customization settings aside from device name. Settings within the Alexa web page for the device are missing all customization settings. I was also surprised that HK support was completely unfamiliar with the product. I'm hopeful HK does some work on this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No customer support or solutions for issues The sound quality is good but I do not recommend this speaker. The volume controls are super fiddly. The bass is super overpowering, with no direct way of adjusting the intensity. ie cannot be done via app or using alexa voice commands. You cannot enjoy the music at louder volumes without thumping bass that rocks the whole house. The bluetooth audio is out of sync with videos. Customer Services haven't offered any solutions to my problems (they weren't even familiar with the speaker) so I am returning it.

How do you adjust bass levels? Big mistake not including this feature

Hi You can't adjust the bass levels on the HK Allure itself. Since most streaming services include an equalizer in their app ( such as Spotify ), this can be used to set all frequencies the way you like it.

How do I adjust the sounds? On my regular Echo devices I can chose the alert sounds and have a wake alert so that the device chimes when invoked by name.

After you set yo allure with the HK Alexa app, you can adjust the alert sound in the Amazon alexa app. You can control all your Alexa products via amazon Alexa app no matter they are from amazon or other brands.

I can't set up about "routine" with Flash news. Alexa app says, "audio device not found". How can I fix this?

Which streaming services does the Allure speaker support? Spotify, Apple Music, TuneIn Radio, Deezer, etc?

As of writing this response, the Harman Kardon Allure supports IFTTT, tunein, SmartThings, nest hue, Spotify, wemo, Amazon Music. You can also voice control your music, voice-shop with Alexa and control your smart home.

Does this work off the Amazon Alexa app and contain all the features Echo has?

Yes, it does work off of the Amazon Alexa app. You have to set up the ALLURE with the HK Alexa Setup app. Once it is setup, you can use the Amazon Alexa app to control it and set preferences. However, it does not have all of the features that the Echo has. Of course, the future will bring more features with software updates. Please subscribe to our newsletter for more updates.

There is a time lag between the Alexa command and the action for eg if I say stop the music this takes 7-10 seconds which did not occur on the Amazon echo the system hangs every few minutes the white lights keeps spinning , will reset Help

In Germany with the U.S Military, can your system work here, and is it dual voltage? I have H/K in my BMW, and love the sound.

The HK Allure are auto-volt units that can be used in either 100-120V or 220-240V, 50-60Hz rated power sources. There would be no voltage issues when using it in Germany.
